Summer Update 2019
We have had a busy and exciting summer! We’ve had a kids camp, youth camp, family reunion and teacher training conferences, and a teacher’s retreat.
We had around 40 kids join us this year for our day camp and we had a wonderful time. We learned about the Big Story of God’s Word and the Big Lies the world tries to tell us. Kids had fun on the zip line, playing human foosball, going down the slip-n-slide, playing 9 square in the air, doing crafts and more!
We are thankful to the many people who volunteered during the camp and for those who gave towards scholarships for kids to come.
Next years Kids Day Camp dates are June 22-26, 2020!
Biblical Worldview Training for Teachers
This year Renewanation did a live simulcast of the first of two Biblical Worldview Training Conferences here at Manderley. Through the simulcast and the onsite training, we were able to reach more than 850 teachers that have over 9,000 students in their schools! Schools from over 21 states and 2 provinces have gone through the training so far this year. There is no better way to train students than to train the teachers that will be with them all year long.
The simulcast is still available for purchase for a little while longer. If you, your school or church would like to have access to the 11 training sessions you can contact Judy Ralph at firstname.lastname@example.org or 540-890-8900.
If you are interested in having your event here at Manderley Camp you can click the link below to check out our facilities and get more information. We would love to host your group!

Summer Update 2018
We have just come through a very busy, but wonderful summer! From kids camps, family reunions, teacher conferences and more we have been blessed with all of the different people at camp this summer.
Our kids camp was a great success and we were up from 15 kids last year to around 60 this year! Even though we had lots of rain during the week, the kids still had a great time and we had many come to know Jesus as their personal Savior throughout the week!
We also hosted a youth retreat and a family reunion this summer and both groups were very pleased with the facilities and had a wonderful time during their stay.
Most recently we hosted around 300 Christian School teachers at our Biblical Worldview Training Conferences. They had great things to say about the camp, the programming and of course the food! They will be reaching thousands of students all year long and implementing the Biblical Worldview Training they received here during the conference.
We have also been renovating a house that was donated to us in town. We were able to get a lot of it done before our teacher events so that two of our speakers could stay there. We are hoping to have that completely finished by the end of this year. It has been a major project to complete, and it will be major blessing to the camp and ministry.
We are looking forward to several more events over the next few months!
Thank you to everyone who has prayed for us over the summer! We are grateful to have been able to serve so many this summer and we hope to continue to grow our impact each year.

Conference Room Transformation
As far as winter goes, we have had a mild one here at the camp! We did however get our first “snow” and it was beautiful! Something about cabins in the snow is so cozy.
Andrew has been working on transforming the conference room so that it will be more useful to our guests. He built this gorgeous conference table, a coffee bar, a wall display and installed this tv so that people can easily display their presentations.

We were thankful to host the Renewanation board meeting here just a few weeks ago. They got to break in our conference room and gave it raving reviews. They also enjoyed relaxing by the fireplace around meal times and on breaks.
We are looking forward to the different events taking place here this year, and are ready for the warm weather! For more info about any events or about renting out the camp contact Julianna Mast at or 540-521-9821
You Can Get Involved!
Are you looking for a ministry to be involved in this year? Manderley Christian Camp & Conference Center may be just what you're looking for!
We are building a core group of volunteers that we can call on during events throughout the year.
There are jobs of all kinds for our volunteers to take part in. Some examples would be; housekeeping, grounds work, helping in the kitchen and working with youth during camp.
We will be having formal interviews on January 25th. If you are willing to volunteer sometime this year please contact Julianna Mast at or 540-521-9821

Grand Opening Celebration
September 30, 2017, Manderley Christian Camp and Conference Center held its Grand Opening Celebration and Banquet. We would like to thank everyone who worked so hard to make this event, and most importantly, this camp, a possibility! Thank you to all those who came out to see the camp! We had fun zip lining, checking out the facilities and eating good food.
We were privileged to have the singing contractors with us for the dedication dinner Saturday night!
Please keep Manderley and Renewanation in your prayers as we march forward to use this venue as a battle ground against the enemy, training students, teachers, and leaders with a biblical worldview.

Biblical Worldview Training for Teachers
We were honored to host a total of 225 teachers at Manderley Christian Camp and Conference Center in two conferences from July 27-August 1. They came from Tennessee, Louisiana, Kentucky, Ohio, and Virginia. More than 60 of those in attendance are just coming into biblical worldview education after spending many years as missionaries in secular schools. They were eager to develop a stronger biblical worldview and to learn how to teach from a biblical worldview perspective.
One school was started only three years ago by 14 public school teachers. This fall, between their four campuses, they will enroll between 800-1000 students. The 225 teachers who were on site will now go and teach 3,500-4,000 students for the next 180 days! We will be planning several of these conferences in 2018. If you would like to see your teachers better understand a biblical worldview and be able to integrate it into their teaching, our biblical worldview training events may be exactly what you need. Our mission at Renewanation is to give millions of new children a biblical worldview through any and all means. God is really helping us! Thank you again for praying for these events.

Kids Day Camp
This past week Manderley Christian Camp & Conference Center had their first official event! We provided a day camp for the kids in Bledsoe county.
Around 15 kids attended the camp and we had a great time! We played all kinds of games, went hiking, played ga-ga ball, learned bible stories and memorized scripture, just to name a few things.
A special thing we did with the kids was give each of them a hiking stick. Each day they were able to earn emblems for their hiking stick as they memorized their verses.
This was a big hit and the kids were so excited to be able to take the hiking sticks home on Friday. Each of the emblems coincides with the salvation story bracelets, so the kids will be able to share the story of the Gospel with their friends and family using their sticks. We want to thank Camping Stick Kids for providing the kits for this program! To learn more about their program check out their website campingstickkids.com
We are so thankful for the many volunteers that helped make camp possible! We had volunteers from our headquarters in Virginia and from here in Tennessee. We would not have been able to have such a successful camp without their help!
It is now crunch time around the camp as we get everything ready for our first overnight events at the end of July. God has been helping us to accomplish the many tasks that we have! Pray that we will get everything done and that these upcoming events would be a blessing to all of those involved!
Be looking on our Facebook page for more pictures from camp!

Work Teams, Beds & Benches
A few weeks ago we were blessed with a work team from Ligonier Evangelical Church! The team helped us make some major progress on building the beds! They were able to get 11 of the 13 cabins finished before they left. We also got to go on a few fun rides around the camp and the ranch on the Polaris! :)
Since then we have finished one more cabin and will finish the last one as soon as the construction crew gets the final touches done.
This past week we built 6 benches that will go on some of the porches around the camp! We will be building some more in the near future.
The construction crew is wrapping up the final things around the camp and should be completely done this week! They put pea gravel up around the cabins on the hill and it looks great!
All of the mattresses got here Monday morning and we have put them in all the cabins. We will be going to pick up chairs tomorrow, and the the tables should be here any day now.
Things are very busy and moving fast as we get ready for our first kids Day Camp for the local kids here in Bledsoe County. The camp is June 20-23 and we covet your prayers as we minister to these kids!
For any questions or for more information about the camp contact Julianna Mast at email@example.com or 540-521-9821.
That has been the theme around the camp the last few weeks. All of the baskets are officially in. Last week we picked up all of the baskets in Chattanooga and we were able to put them in this week. We have made a few adjustments in the basket placements since we did the original clearing, so we will be doing the extra clearing here soon, as well as making tee pads for each hole.
Spring has sprung and everything is starting to grow! This is a beautiful place to be in the spring! The grass is green, the trees are blooming and the rain is falling more often than not. Since everything is growing we now know what adjustments need to be made on the recently cleared trails. We will be taking care of the large amounts of poison ivy that has been popping up as well!
The construction crew has been making great progress on the buildings. The second lodge has been drywalled and painted on top and bottom and the wood ceilings have been put in the top. The main lodge has the wood walls finished and is waiting for the ceilings to go in.
We are blessed to be serving in such a beautiful place and can’t wait to see the finished product!
For more information contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
These last few weeks have been busy! We have had several visitors here at the camp, and have been able to get a lot of work done.
Last week we built a bridge that leads to the disc golf course and some of the walking trails.
We were able to use a lot of the trees we cleared for the disc golf course to make the bridge.
We want to say a big thank you to Aaron and Adam who came down on their spring break to help us clear out some hiking trails! They helped us clear about a mile of trails and get the base of our next bridge in place. On Thursday afternoon we took the guys to Fall Creek Falls State Park to see some of the beautiful surroundings in our area.
All of the cabin siding is finished! They are finishing up the bathrooms and will be putting flooring in soon. We will start building and staining all of the beds within the next few weeks. It is exciting to see all the progress taking place!
If you are interested in helping out with work around the camp please contact us at
Progress is being made on the buildings each week. The outside of several cabins were completed this week. Heating and air units are in almost all of the cabins and most of the interior woodworking is finished.
This week we have mainly been working
on the disc golf course. We currently
have 8 of the 9 holes cleared of the
major debris. Here is a before and after
of part of hole #8.
While working on the disc golf course, Andrew has been cutting some of the fallen logs to use for benches around the camp. These benches have been turning out great and we can’t wait to get them set up around the camp!
Check back next week for some more photos and another update on the camp progress! If you would like some more information about the camp please contact us at email@example.com!
